CUSD Band students wowed a packed house at Bandtastic! 🎺🥁🎻🎷🎺 This district-wide concert by students in grades 6-12 – and their amazing music teachers – is a crowd favorite that showcases both musical talent and the impact of performing arts in education. Bravo! 👏🎶🎉 For more photos, please visit our Facebook page.
It takes a village to pull off an event of this magnitude. 🙌 Thank you to everyone who made it possible, including our Educational Services team, Central Valley High School staff, CUSD Maintenance, Custodial, and Technology teams, our school communities, families who attended and support their children’s music education all year through, and of course, our students and their music teachers. 🫶

If only all lunch meetings were this much fun! 🎉 Cesar Chavez Tigers asked thoughtful questions and shared honest perspectives when Superintendent Amy Peterman joined them for pizza and great conversation. 🍕💬
When asked what advice she’d give her junior high self, Dr. Peterman said she’d remind herself not to worry so much about what others think. Students shared their favorite things about school – along with suggestions for making it even better! 🐅
