School Clubs

We encourage our Tigers to connect to their school community by joining a school club. Clubs are a great way for students to learn more about their personal interest,  make friends,  and develop leadership skills. 

   

Drama Club
-Mrs. Holtan-

Drama club  help prepare students for the Thalia Drama festival hosted by Ceres High School. Students will be directed in learning monologues, duo scenes, musical numbers, and a one act. This club will allow for more rehearsal time outside of the drama class and give those who are not in the class a chance to participate.

Gaming Club
-Mr. Jimenez-

The goal of Gaming Club is to provide a safe place for students to hang out after school. The students are able to play board games, card games and video games. Furthermore, students will be encouraged to succeed academically and socially. 


Protecting Health and Slamming Tobacco (PHAST JV Club)
-Mrs. Borges-

PHASTjv stands for Protecting Health and Slamming Tobacco, the JV is Junior Varsity because it is at the junior high school.  The goal of this program is to spread the word about the dangers of tobacco and all tobacco products. We visit elementary schools in the district and teach the students about the dangers of tobacco.


Performing Arts Crew Club
-Mrs. Holtan-

Performing Arts Crew (PAC) is the leadership team that meets monthly, and more often when needed, to assist in the behind the scenes organization, fundraisers, and preparation for the Band, Choir, and Drama Concerts and performance field trips.

Agriculture -Mrs. Bigelow-
Learn about agriculture and leadership with us! In this club , students have the opportunity to grow their own seedlings, help manage our school's garden, and develop leadership skills.

Anime Club
-Mr. Jimenez-
The purpose of Anime Club is to provide a safe place for students to hang out after school. The students will be introduced to many different types of anime and cartoons. They will be given opportunities to express themselves artistically as well as to learn about Japanese culture as well as other cultures through animated shows. 

Cadet Corps
-Mr. Bryan-
The Cadet Corps is leadership program taught through a military framework. The Cadet Corps is open to both 7th and 8th grade students. The program meets at lunch (sometimes) and after school (mostly) and all cadets learn the following: Develop leadership skills, enhance academic achievement, foster good citizenship, promote patriotism, provide basic military knowledge, encourage health, wellness, and fitness.
